53 x 11 Fall Clean Up
  • WHEN: Saturday, November 8th @ 8:30
  • WHERE: 2725 Colorado Ave S, St. Louis Park, MN 55416 - Map & Directions
  • WHY?: Give a little back to the community

On Saturday, November 8th, we'll be doing what we hope will become an annual fall event for the MNTriClub. We will be doing a fall clean-up along the Cedar Lake Trail and Greenway (well parts of it anyhow). We will be doing this with some help from 53 X 11 coffee. The plan is that we will meet around 8:30 in the morning for some 53 X 11 coffee and some bagels. Once we are adequately fueled up, we will break up into groups of two or so and set out on foot, mountain bike (or whatever bike you want to bring), and car to varous points along the trail system to pick up trash by about 9 am. We will provide trash bags and rubber gloves for the clean up. We will have mapped out sections of the trail. For those on foot, we'll send you to a part of the trail where you can park your car near and set off on foot for a mile or two.

Please RSVP to Bill at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it with "Fall Clean Up" in the subject line and indicate whether you'll be on foot or on bike so we can know how much food and coffee to get and to plan the routes appropriately.

2008 Minnesota Multisports Awards
The MMA Selection Committee is pleased to announce its nominees for the 2008 Minnesota Multisport Awards. The awards—a.k.a. the “Emmas”--will be presented “Academy Awards-style” at the Tri-Night ’08 festivities at St. Paul College on Saturday, November 15.

A significant change was instituted this year. The Grand Masters category used to include all athletes age 50 and above. GM’s are now, as prescribed by USAT, recognized as men age 60 and above, and women 55 and over.
